KINDNESS
Here is what I learned today: a receiving hand is not necessarily bad.
I mean, we heard about giving is better than receiving. But somehow, if we are not open to receiving, we dont know how it feels like to accept kindness.
And I have a lot of faith in other's kindness. I have a lot of faith in mine too, but also I want to still have firm belief in the magic of someone else's kindness. I think kindness makes the world goes around and around. Not just money.
But of course, you can use money as tool to spread kindness. Say, through donation.
But what is the currency of kindness actually? The art of accepting. That is the currency of kindness.
Often time, we think it's only about giving. What if kindness is all about receiving it and restoring your faith in humanity? I gave a lot of myself previously, that I started losing myself when it comes to believing humanity still exist.
Till I learn how to be the hand that receives. My ego deflated, and I surrender to these giving hands. I finally know how it feels like to be grateful.
Receiving doesnt mean you are weak. It means you are able to acknowledge that you need to be a part of a giving community. If everyone competes to just give, without anyone wants to receive, what happen to us?
We will be a civilization that thrives on ego and competes for unnecessary things. Like whose pride is the biggest.\
I dont mind being on the receiving end. In fact, I quite enjoy it nowadays. It restores my belief in humanity.
